Of haughty do*chy know-it-alls

I came across one of those online recently, when I opened a discussion on Apple Community about a "bug" I was experiencing in my iPad's Safari browser after iPadOS 13 update; I got several replies from users with the same issue...then came the know-it-all.

The guy started by showing he hadn't even bothered to read my question, as his first reply talked about a completely different feature that had nothing to do with our problem; then he said the issue was only in our minds, that what we were complaining about was actually a new feature available in the new o.s. version we were ignorant about and that we should read the iPad's manual to learn using it as we clearly were incapable of (contrarily to him, more about that below); he also insulted me personally, saying I should avoid anything advanced - which means he called me dumb and implied (more than implied, actually) that I was an idiot who didn't know what she was talking about or doing.
What actually made him a haughty a*shat, though, was that he said all of the above while praising himself and his (non-existent) "superior" ability and skills at using the iPad and his (again, non-existent) knowledge of the features...knowledge that in his delusional mind we should have taken thanking him for the "useful advice" and for sharing it but that wasn't there, as he didn't give any concrete suggestions to help solve the issue.
When I pointed out that his attitude was insulting not helpful, let alone useful in any way, he reported my post....more (unnecessary) proof that he was the only ignorant one there.

Sorry for the rant, but that really pi*sed me off and I had to let it out.
See you all on next entry; many cheers. XOXO
